From Hamilton to the Nations: What God Has Done Since 2014

The short answer

Since 2014, what began as Love on Hamilton — food, prayer and the Gospel on the streets of Hamilton, Ontario — has grown into Love on The World, with active outreach groups across 12 cities and prayer for 36 nations. Jesus Festival Hamilton 2026 drew a record turnout at Gage Park, with early reports of 70+ people giving their lives to Jesus and 50+ baptisms, and the Jesus Festival Movement has carried the same heart to Niagara and Akuse, Ghana. Katie and I serve in partnership with e3 Canada, and SIX33 — a Christian culture brand built on Matthew 6:33 — is coming soon to carry the Kingdom into culture and fund street outreach. You can partner with the mission at KD-Ziedins.com.

2014: food, prayer and the Gospel on one city's streets

It did not start with a strategy. In 2014 Katie and I stepped onto the streets of Hamilton, Ontario with food, prayer and the Gospel. We called it Love on Hamilton. Week after week — rain, snow or heat — the team kept showing up: feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, praying for the sick, and sharing Jesus with anyone who would listen.

We had no idea what God would build from it. We only knew who we were serving when we served the person in front of us:

“Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.”

— Matthew 25:40

Love on The World: from one city to twelve

As word spread, believers in other cities started asking how to do the same thing where they live. Between 2020 and 2022, Love on The World was established to help start and grow outreach groups anywhere. Today there are active groups across 12 cities and prayer going up for 36 nations, with evangelism training equipping everyday believers to take the same love to their own streets.

In Hamilton alone, more than fifty people now gather every week to evangelize. None of it happened because of one gifted person. It happened because ordinary believers kept showing up — praying, giving, inviting, serving. That is how the body of Christ is meant to work:

“Now you are the body of Christ and individually members of it.”

— 1 Corinthians 12:27

Jesus Festival 2026: a record weekend at Gage Park

Every September, Jesus Festival Hamilton fills Gage Park with a free, family-friendly weekend of worship, testimonies, prayer and Gospel hope. On September 4–5, 2026 it drew a record turnout, with altar calls on both the Friday and the Saturday.

2026 was also the first Jesus Festival Niagara — and the City lit Niagara Falls yellow in recognition of it. Through the Jesus Festival Movement, the same simple heart has now crossed the ocean to Akuse, Ghana: gather in public, lift up Jesus, preach the Gospel, and invite a region into lasting mission.

  • 70+ people giving their lives to Jesus (early reports)
  • 50+ baptisms
  • 3,000+ free hot dogs and drinks served
  • Many healings and deliverances, with altar calls on both days

“Just so, I tell you, there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

— Luke 15:10

Equipping the church, with e3 Canada

A festival is a moment; a church is a presence. That is why so much of our work is equipping. Katie and I serve in partnership with e3 Canada and I Am Second — e3 exists to equip believers to evangelize and to establish multiplying, life-changing churches around the world.

Our latest mission is to help establish one hundred multiplying outreach groups around the world through Evangelize.World — ordinary believers, equipped and sent to bring the Gospel and practical love into their own communities. One evangelist reaches a street. A hundred equipped groups can reach nations.

SIX33: carrying the Kingdom into culture

Not everyone will walk into a church or a festival. But almost everyone wears something, follows someone and is shaped by a culture. That is the heart behind SIX33 — a Christian lifestyle and performance culture brand built on one verse, coming really soon.

SIX33 exists to glorify God and to remind people to seek Jesus first, while impacting culture for His Kingdom — limited apparel drops, athletes and creators, events and stories. And a big part of its heart is raising funds for Love on The World's street-level outreach: as SIX33 grows, the giving grows with it. There is no launch date yet and no fake countdown. The Inner Circle at SIX33.World gets in first.

“But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.”

— Matthew 6:33

What the numbers cannot show

Twelve cities. Thirty-six nations. Seventy-plus decisions in one weekend. Numbers help us give thanks and count the cost, but none of them is really a number. Every one is a person with a name, a family and a story that God has been writing long before we met them.

Jesus left the ninety-nine for one. Heaven throws a party over one sinner who repents. So we report what has been reported, we hold it humbly, and we give God every ounce of the glory. None of this is ours. It is His harvest, and we are simply grateful to be in the field.

Plunder hell, populate heaven — your part in the next chapter

The evangelist Reinhard Bonnke summed up his life's calling in four words: plunder hell to populate heaven. That is the work, and there is a place in it for you:

  • Pray. For labourers, for open hearts across Canada, and for the next one hundred groups.
  • Start or join a group. Love on The World helps believers start a Love on [City] outreach where they live.
  • Come to the next Jesus Festival. 2027 dates have not been announced yet — follow JesusFestival.ca, or help bring a festival to your own city through the Jesus Festival Movement.
  • Join the SIX33 Inner Circle at SIX33.World and be first in when the doors open.
  • Partner monthly with Katie and me through e3 Canada. Monthly partners are prayed for daily and receive a monthly update with the stories most people never see.

The earth will be filled

Hamilton was never the finish line. It was the first city. The promise we are building on is far bigger than any of our ministries, and it ends with every nation:

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.”

— Habakkuk 2:14
