Body System
Hormones & Endocrine
The short answer
Hormones set your energy, drive, mood and resilience, and they respond to how you live far more than most people realise. The Live Full Blueprint supports them with heavy compound lifting, genuinely good sleep, adequate zinc and magnesium, and reduced exposure to plastics and endocrine-disrupting chemicals. Chronic stress, short sleep, alcohol and seed oils are the reliable disruptors.
Why it matters
Hormonal health is the difference between dragging yourself through obligations and meeting the day with something to give. It underpins mood, motivation, body composition and the capacity to keep going.
Signs this system needs attention

- Loss of drive and motivation you cannot explain
- Gaining fat around the middle despite no change in diet
- Poor recovery from training
- Mood swings, low libido or disrupted cycles

The daily practice
Lift heavy things
Squats, deadlifts, presses and rows, two to three times a week. Compound resistance training is the strongest lifestyle lever on hormonal health there is.
Protect sleep above all
The majority of daily hormone production happens during sleep. Short sleep undoes good training and good food within days.
Eat enough fat and cholesterol
Steroid hormones are built from cholesterol. Eggs, quality red meat and avocado supply the raw material that very low-fat diets remove.
Reduce plastic contact
Glass and steel instead of plastic for hot food and drink. Never microwave in plastic. Small, permanent changes rather than a purge.
Manage the stress load
Sustained cortisol suppresses the sex hormones directly. A daily down-regulation practice is a hormonal intervention, not a soft one.
The Scripture behind it
"Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong."
— 1 Corinthians 16:13
Common questions
How do I balance my hormones naturally?
Sleep seven to nine hours, lift heavy compound movements two to three times a week, eat enough protein and dietary fat, correct zinc and magnesium if low, reduce alcohol, and cut plastic contact with hot food. Those changes address the great majority of lifestyle-driven hormonal disruption. Persistent symptoms deserve a blood panel rather than guesswork.
What are endocrine disruptors and where are they?
They are chemicals that mimic or block your own hormones — phthalates and BPA in plastics, some pesticide residues, and certain fragrance and personal care ingredients. The practical response is not fear but substitution: glass and steel for hot food and drink, unscented basics, and washing produce.
